Vintage Blanket Lined Fitz Denim Jacket | Seattle Vintage Workwear Clothing | Barn Owl Vintage

If you are looking for an immaculate jacket that looks like it just came off the shelf, this is not the jacket for you.  On the other hand, if you're looking for a remarkable piece of denim workwear history then this 1940's Fitz Blanket Lined Denim Jacket may be of interest to you.  One of the things I love about this piece is the innovation for when the zipper broke.  Did they repair the zipper?  No.  They added three latches which they could button to keep the jacket closed though it was clear hard work was required as none of the buttons even survived.  There are holes and wear throughout, as evidenced by the photos. There is also fantastic honeycombs on the sleeves of the jacket.  This is truly an exquisite piece of workwear history available for sale.
