The Barn Owl Vintage Goods was started in February of 2021 by Josh Dand and Cassie McCulloch. After years of collecting and selling vintage clothing in the Seattle area, we graduated to our first brick and mortar. Well, almost; as 700 square feet in the back of Ballard's Sparklebarn would briefly be home.

In July of 2022, we moved out of Ballard and into our current brick-and-mortar storefront in Georgetown. Since then, we have doubled the size of our shop with an addition in May of 2025, making a grand total of 4,000+ sqft home for our Georgetown shop.

But that doesn't end there. In July of 2026, we once again return to Ballard, this time with the help of our friends and vintage experts Aidan and Isaiah, opening our second storefront, Barn Owl Vintage A to Z, 5,000 sqft right on Ballard Ave.
