Vintage Schaefer Outfitter Down Vest SZ 40.  Earliest known label of the Schaefer Outfitter brand which sprang from the Rocky Mountain Feather Bed when designer Cub Schaefer got fed up and left RMFB and created his own company with many of the same distinctive designs and high quality materials.  Overall in good vintage condition.
